The Cheetah represents JinkoSolar’s commitment to pushing boundaries in R&D
Earlier this month Segen reported that JinkoSolar’s latest module reached a new high-efficiency rating.
The Cheetah uses larger wafers than previous modules which allow for a smaller gap between cells and a slightly larger active area, thus increasing the power output.
The cell size, 158.75mm – viewed by many as optimal, is the largest that can be produced without necessitating further changes to production lines.
The manufacturer credited its new power and efficiency achievements to a range of technological breakthroughs achieved at various production stages, including low oxygen wafer growth, low-loss cell interconnection and other cell and module advancements.
